Abstract

Partner and sexual satisfaction in peri-menopausal and postmenopausal women is closely linked with the age given health risks, peri-menopausal and post-menopausal physical symptoms, with the application of hormone therapy and substitution, the frequency and type of sexual activity, and the presence of relationship and sexual partner. Although many studies have examined the risks associated with sexual activity, only dedicated minimum potential benefits for physical and mental health, and few of them includes a detailed resolution of specific sexual behavior and its relationship with postmenopausal symptoms.
