Partnership Still as a Hitting And/or Raping License (?): Examining Legitimacy and Cultural Patterns of Violence

Abstrakt

The paper examines the development of attitudes of the Czech public to the issue of violence and notes their considerable stability and weaker social conditionality. The different forms of violence also show different degrees of legitimacy in the eyes of the Czech public, the most striking problem is the perception of the rape in the case of intimate partnership.
