Abstract
Adenocarcinoma with lepidic growth is a variant of lung adenocarcinoma, which, if early detected, is a very good prognosis. In non-invasive and minimally invasive variants that have a 100% 5-year survival in the case of radical treatment, we often find a nodule with ground glass opacity.
In more advanced stages, images are more variable and they be may be confused with non-tumorous diseases. The pictorial essay gives an overview of CT findings in adeno carcinomas with lepidic growth.
There is also briefly mentioned issue of diagnostics using positron emission tomography.
