Abstrakt
The author describes basic reasons why are western soldiers so obsessed by so-called symmetric warfare in conflicts where it is counterproductive or it is at least not useful. The next part of the article is aimed on analysis of new phenomena in the current security environment.
Using the example of necessary defence against so-called Russian New Generation Warfare it analyse new instruments offered by modern sciences. Based on the Punctuated Equilibria theory he author offers some new ways upgrading our current process of future operational environment evaluation.
