Abstract
The aim of the paper is to outline the usefulness of archival and printed sources and to evaluate the contribution of the interdisciplinary methodology to the research of the cement market monopolisation in the interwar Czechoslovakia and Germany. Although the paper focuses on cement industry, the final thesis is applicable to other sectors of the heavy industry.
