What do pupils represent under oxygen and carbon?

Abstract

The process of learning is a cumulative process leading to the connection and structuring of individual concepts and information into large units. The units are new for the students.

The concepts and information are constantly connected with new connections. Interconnection of internal and external factors is necessary in teaching sciences subjects.

These stimuli bring to students new information about science and natural processes. Thus, they have a great influence on misconception.

This paper deals with the identification of naïve ideas primary school students. The main objective of the presented research is to diagnose the most common associations related to oxygen and carbon elements in pupils of the 8th year of elementary school.

The research contributes to the identification of selected student's ideas. These ideas are connected with oxygen and carbon.

Primary school students have a lot of ideas about these two elements. In the research we deal with wright and wrong property of these ideas.
