Abstrakt
The publication has been initiated by Czech and Slovak physicians-anesthetists from Medical faculty Charles University Prague and from Medical faculty Comenius University, Bratislava, who recognized the growing impact and influence of modern anesthesiology to oncology. The increasing importance of anesthesiology and perioperative medicine on the course and clinical outcome during complex oncological therapy is undoubtful.
The priority of this monography is to provide traditional and new facts from oncology, and remarkable progress in anesthesiology, and its relationship, with emphasize on the benefit for oncological patients. The contribution of textbook is an interdisciplinary character, providing sufficient amount of information using traditional methods and contemporary open new insights and dimensions of upto- date clinical medicine, focused on the interaction between oncology and anesthesiology.
