Contributions to the Research on the Relationship of Language Skills and Literacy Acquisition in the Czech Literature

Abstract

The editorial of first special English issue of Literacy, Preliteracy and Education Journal provides an overview of the development of the Czech research on the relationship of language skills and literacy development throughout the last twenty years. The editorial provides a contextual introduction to all papers included in the Issue and highlights the importance of all papers for current research and counselling practice in the Czech Republic.
