Abstract
The authors present a case of an infant with primar y pulmonar y veins stenosis. Recurrent respirator y infections were initial symptoms, followed by post-capillary pulmonary hyper tension development.
Shortly after an open heart surgery with limited temporary effect, the restenosis of pulmonary veins had developed and patient died from cardiac failure when treated for pneumonia.
