Software framework for similarity-based prediction of protein interfaces

Abstract

Despite the importance of protein-protein interactions in biological processes and despite intensive efforts to predict them, there exists only a limited number of available computational tools to predict the interactions. In this paper, we introduce a novel standalone software framework for prediction of protein-protein interaction sites which suits a wider range of usecases then typically possible with similar tools.

This allows users to choose an optimal tool fitting their use case. The framework is publicly available at https://github.com/Jelinek-J/INSPiRE.
