Münchhausen syndrome by proxy - when a parent makes healthy child ill

Abstract

The article focuses on characteristics of the disorder, its occurence, motivation of the perpetrator to do a harm to another person, most frequently the victim is a child. The article is also focused on victimisation characteristics, question of revealing the problem and impact on the life of the victim and whole family.

Shortly it is also focused on therapeutic support in such cases.
