Abstract
Nursing care is the basis for the therapy of oncology and haemato-oncology patients. Collaboration among centers and the research of oral care or central venous catheter care procedures have yielded valuable results.
Administrative burdens and lack of nursing staff have limited the research activities, further development, however, can not be ruled out.
