Abstract

The so-called. "divided society" is a main topic of current political, sociological and journalistic discussions and polemics.. In both the US and Europe, we are witnessing tough cultural struggles about the direction of the country.

The aim of this study is to introduce so-called cultural wars in the context of post-secular society. Although they could be perceived as a dispute between religion and secularism, as a sociologist James D.

Hunter pointed out, reality is much more complex. The dividing line is a rather different vision of the world and morality.

In today's post-secular society, new and unique religious-secular expressions and positions are emerging that challenge our conventional grasp of religion and secularism.
