Abstract
Chronic venous disease (CVD) is one of the most prevalent diseases of today due to its high prevalence (over 50% of the population). The prevalence of the disease varies from one ethnic group to another, with the latest data confirming a high incidence of CVD in western countries - 25-33% female and 10-14% male adult population.
