Abstract

The results of this study show a high correlation of the personal features of pupils with CP and the level of physical participation of these pupils in the Czech elementary school environment. It has been shown that the degree of gross motor abilities is of the greatest importance for performing nonacademic physical activities of pupils with CP in elementary school.

Other individual factors affecting their participation are: cognitive status, development of expressive speech, handwriting and, to a lower extent development of receptive speech.
