Abstract
The article discusses the importance of regular meetings of doctoral students, their supervisors and other professionals in the field of music education. It deals with the history of conferences, the current state of knowledge and perspectives.
It emphasizes the unifying idea of professional debates and conference outcomes, which is the constant creative search for common points and contexts, as well as the naming of discrepancies and counterproductive activities between theoretical studies, artistic composition and interpretation practice, and the musical educational process.
