The textbook presents basic concepts in the field of musical forms, explains the form in terms of musical theory, explains the role of musical means of expression in mold formation, and explains the available musical forms as a structure and a tectonic unit. Explanations are accompanied by note material, sound samples, and video clips.
The control questions at the end of each chapter serve to test the knowledge. The textbook is created as an interactive multimedia book.
