Property management in the CD, a.s. by GIS

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2018

Abstract

CD owns wide range of real estate and uses GIS for its management. Although the main role of CD is primarily provision of transport services, a large amount of real estate continues to be owned.

CD has more than 13 000 parcels with more than 60 million m 2 in the Real Estate Cadastre and over 3 000 buildings. Every month there is an update of cadastral data - maps and property rights relations out of which the current map layers of the assets of monitored institutions are created.

The passport information layer is also updated. CD uses GIS from Gepro, MISYS.

The standard version is primarily used by GIS administrators and regional geographers due to editing capabilities. In the CD system, it manages salestransactions, easements, geometric plans, key assets, and territorial analytical data.

The system is used for the current clear visualization of the companys assets. Access is primarily provided by GIS administrators, regional geodesists, UAP managers, and several affected individuals in regional property administrations.

The current long-term project is the distribution of real estate at railway stations between ČD and SZDC. It is used by the web application MISYS-web.
