Abstract

Not much research has been done in the area of pupils' perception of their understanding and in tutoring in the Czech Republic, so this is an introduction of one of prime attempts to find any connections between them. In a sample of 142 lower secondary pupils, distinctive attitudes were sought towards their desired understanding in mathematics and towards their attendance on tutoring lessons in mathematics
