Abstract
Public history The introductory study of the thematic issue of History - questions - problems journal reflects on the possibilities of applying various concepts of public history into the Czech context. The study presents different approaches to the issue of public history within the Northatlantic, Australian and European context.
It suggests possible adaptation of these approaches in the range of historiography and history education. It clarifies conceptual basis of the authors who have contributed to the thematic issue of the journal.
