Abstract
The contribution primarily introduces the typology and samples of settlements on the Claudianus map and on its copies by S. Münster, Z. of Púchov, B.
Zaltieri and F. J.
J. Kreibich.
Map symbols will be compared and toponyms analyzed. Special attention will be paid to the language differences between the same printing block of S.
Münster and the Czech version by Z. of Púchov. Furthermore, the paper will focus on cartometric analysis and inaccuracies of settlements.
The number of settlements in the individual versions will be also compared.
