Abstract
Workshop which took place at the Castle Český Krumlov reminded this imitative technique very popular in the 18th century. Opening lecture explained the history and basic types of "lacca povera".
Details of its technology were clarified on example of conservation of panelling, decorated by this technique, from the Castle Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou with emphasize on chinoisserie motives. Visit of stores of the Castle Český Krumlov presented authentic artefacts including examples of provincial types from beginning of the 19th century.
