The literature from members of the Czech minority in Croatia has almost a hundred years of tradition. About 30 contemporary writers are associated in the Literature Club, which is active at the Czech Union of Croatia.
The paper summarizes the results of the survey among these writers, how they perceive the importance of their work and what they see as the purpose of cultivating compatriot culture, especially the literature. They also contemplate the perspectives of compatriot literature and minority life today, when the minority, as well as the surrounding population, is constantly and increasingly influenced by globalization.
