Abstract
The short text deals with Ukrainian emigree poet Yuriy Darahan. At first it brings basic biographical data, including the basic information about his poetic works.
At second, his poetic collection Quiver (in Ukrainian Sahaydak) is characterized. The authors of the text especially point at the close connection of his poetry with historical themes, which peculiarly mirror the contemporary historical peripethies.
Except of this level of Darahan'poetry the attention is paid to commemorative and intimate lyrics.
