Abstract
The short text deals with Ukrainian emigree poet Oleksa Stefanovych. At first it brings basic biographical data, including basic information about his poetic work.
At second it briefly analyses his poetic works and characterizes it as highly polyphonic with several focuses (natural lyric poetry, historical poetry, which is very important in the context of his whole work, poetry with antique motives etc.). Last but not least the existencial poetry is chracterized.
