Abstract
In 2018, a short video clip titled How to Build a Tile Stove was made. The film focuses on some important moments in the construction of tile stoves: creating drawings and designs, preparing clay, manufacture tiles by molding, first and second burning the tile, and glazing.
The film follows the building of the stoves on the example of rehabilitation tiled stoves from the 18th-century restored by restorer and stove builder Ivo Konicek and Petr Miklicek at the Veltrusy chateau. The film was produced by Martin Salaba according to Ludmila Ouroda's screenplay, the restorers Ivo Konicek and Petr Miklicek performed in the film.
