Abstract

The study features outline of the printed works publishing the resolutions of Utraquist synods from 1521 to 1539. The oldest print from April 1521 was not known till now.

Neext two prints (1524, 1531) are missing, we know only prints with the resolutions from 1525 and 1531. The Utraquists employed the adventage of new medium, which was book printing, fot their promotion, propaganda and administration only a few.

The study reflects on reasons of this fact. Maybe intentional liquidation ofthese prints realized during the Recatolisation period caused their contemporary lack.

The survey of these prints is supplemented by probing of inventary books of churches in Kutná Hora. Its result certifies small number and percentage of printed liturgical books till the end of 1520's.
