Abstract
the paper approaches several topics of Middle and Late La Tène figural art in Bohemia. First, an overview of some recent discoveries of anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figurines is provided including their elementary stylistic analysis.
Subsequently, two artefacts are studied in more depth: A mould for casting an anthropomorphic figurine from the Stradonice collection turns out to be a modern fake. A boar figurine from the same site is remarkable mainly for a story following its discovery which we try to reconstruct based on archive sources.
