Abstract
The lexicon entry presents the life and work of the most famous Sorbian and German writing author of the 20th century, author of prose for adults and literature for children and youth. In his work, Brězan often uses the motifs of myths and legends from Lusatia, such as the characters of The Sorcerer's Apprentice - Krabat.
