Abstract
In my contribution, I focus on drama activities and their application in terms of methodology and didactics in the teaching of Czech as a foreign language. In particular, I address the scenario issues: its origin, scope and basic theme, the script language and the art of acting, and some basic rules for stage performance.
In the second part I deal with two concrete forms of applying dramatic activities in teaching Czech as a foreign language. These forms correspond to the level of language knowledge: 1.
Beginners at A1 level focus on realizing shorter dialogues (scenes) in a variety of environments and with a variety of events. The simplicity, the uncomplicated way of speaking, complemented by mimicry and gestures are the most important. 2.
Advanced level B2 students are able to engage in more complex speech activity in conversations and longer monologues from texts that are not simplified.
