Abstract
Co-sputtering of Pt-Ni of alloy thin films was tested. The alloy was deposited on carbon nanoparticles and Tem study confirmed large surface area of the catalyst exhibiting Ni core and Pt skin.
PEM fuel cell test confirmed high activity with very low Pt loading. Use of this film technology represents important achievement which is superior to standard wet techniques of preparation.
