Abstract
Human Biomechanics is the official textbook of the Czech Society for Biomechanics, summarizing the current knowledge in the field. It is intended not only for students of applied mechanics-biomechanics and biomedicine, but, thanks to its content, understandable language, graphic desing and mathematical apparatus describing basic physical relations, also for students of medical disciplines who want to extend their knowledge in the field of biomechanics.
After studying, the students will understand the behavior of the biological tissues from a mechanical perspective, familiarize themselves with experimental and computational approaches in the field and understand the development cycle of implants.
