Abstract

The study deals with German written literature for children, a genre of fun fantasy. It focuses on fairy-tale characters, it also focuses on the aspect of configuration and various types of personification.

The usage of personification and anthropomorphism in one novel (Julie Jellus Maggies Reise ins Land der Unordnung) and the novel series (with the cover novel Freddy, Das Wilde Hamsterleben by Dietlof Reiche) is also copmared.
