Abstrakt
The outcome of an ambitious and laborious project which was the collaborative effort of a number of Czech art historians is a publication presenting the most comprehensive overview of the history of art within the Czech territory ever to originate from the Czech milieu. However, the book lacks a solid methodological underpinning and hence is full of inherent contradictions.
