THE ETYMOLOGICAL AND STRUCTURAL-SEMANTIC ASPECTS OF PHRASEOLOGY IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE

Abstrakt

The article considers the etymological and structural-semantic aspects of phraseological units in the discourse of politicians in Russia and the Czech Republic. Seven major groups of phraseologists are identified according to the etymological criterion.

The features of the functioning of phraseological units in the speech of politicians are described, depending on the types of phraseological units.
