The publication consists of ten methodologically designed educational lessons designed for the education of seniors in libraries and other institutions. All lessons are based on the research which was realized with this target group in dissertation work of the author.
It has gained valuable information about seniors' interest in a particular area, and has been able to suggest lessons on topics where seniors are interested in actually learning and gaining practical skills. All topics primarily belong in information literacy.
These include, in particular, more efficient work with the Internet, the use of online tools, online graphics creation and photo editing, information resource search, quality information assessment, and information security. Lessons are described according to the didactic framework of E-U-R, and librarians and other lecturers who devote themselves to seniors education can find not only instructions but also great inspiration for organizing their own lessons.
