Abstract
The author presents sovietization of asylum law as an example of globalization in this particular field of law. He introduces basic historical, political, legal and ideological origins of Soviet (socialist) conception of asylum law.
In conclusion, the author demonstrates why looking into asylum law of so called socialist countries might be beneficial even today.
