Equations of many unknowns. The edition of Czech and foreign texts as a search for the best compromise

Abstract

The text deals with some important aspects of creating editions of historical texts. The most important limitations are the nature of the original text as well as the target group of its users.

The text also argues with the need to create detailed rules for transcribing texts.
