Abstrakt
The text presents the concept of space and time and discusses the possibilities how to study space-time in the respective subjects of Japanese studies. Then, it proceedes with the decription of particular approaches applied in the the collective monography called Crossing Time and Space: From the Perspective of Japanese Studies.
It introduces the contents of each chapter in the book that are divided in the four sections, Classical Japanese literatute, Modern Japanese literature, Japanese language, and Japanese History and Society.
