Abstract
The text tries to introduce the theoretical background to the method of appreciating the musical interpretation, of comparing two interpretations of the same piece, of looking more deeply into the the structure and inner process of musical interpretation. It describes domestic traditions compared to the world's analytical approach to gasping the interpretation process, and also, it describes selected contemporary approaches to the analysis of interpretation process.
Understanding of these concepts allows us to suggest a way of explaining the specific form of the given interpretation and to include it in the time, music- intentional, interpretative and creative - artistic context.
