Epigenetically active feed with increased zinc content for stray cattle

Publication

Abstract

The aim of this technical solution is an epigenetically active feed for Czech petrified cattle with a controlled zinc concentration of 60 +- 10 mg / kg of the resulting feed mixture. The composition is composed of a balanced mixture of individual components with different constituents of the epigenetically active component.

The essence of the described technical solution lies in the controlled content and homogenization of sub-components rich in naturally occurring nitrogenous substances, which are well known as natural complexes of biological metal ions, in particular zinc. The particular components of the epigenetically active feed are added to the mixture at a specific weight ratio (wheat 32%, barley 42%, rape extracted 17%, limestone 5%, molasses 3%, and feed salt 1% By analytical analysis (ICP-MS), the average zinc concentration was 55 to 68 mg / kg of the resulting feed mixture.
