Abstract
The ruling Přemyslid dynasty managed to build the base of Bohemian state and to strenghten its position in European context. Its exression was the gain of royal title.
The court of Bohemian princes and kings was not only the center of power but also a heart of a cultural life. The rulers were for centuries the biggest founders, builders and orderes of work of art whose artistic and esthetic quality and code of significance was an instrument of ruler᾽s representation.
The architecture and other work of art participated in essential way in creating the splendour and glamour of the sovereign majesty.
