Abstract
The monograph is established on more than ten years of terrain research of old roads and holloways often of prehistoric or Early Medieval origin. First chapters are dedicated to general observation, methodics, written and archaeological sources, but the core of the book deals with more than 200 actual landscape situation and the relationship between old roads and early sites.
The book is provided with 726 maps and photographs.
