Abstrakt
Th e author concentrates on the recent state and development of labour law in Eastern Europe.He defines the basic principles of the labour-law regulations in these countries, also with respect to the development resulting from the transfer to market economy and entry to the European Union. He naturally speaks mainly about the situation in the Czech Republic, but I will also take the position of labour law in other countries of the former Eastern bloc into account, especially in Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary.
