Therapy of Onychomycosis Using the Non-thermal Plasma

Abstract

Inactivation of fungi including dermatophytes by the action of non-thermal plasma has already been verified by numerous in vitro and in vivo studies. Feasibility of this simple and cheap method for therapy of human onychomycosis is documented here on clinical case reports.
