Abstract
The contribution deals with the continuity and discontinuity of the rules and conventions regulating the proceedings of the First Czechoslovak Republic's National Assembly compared to both its predecessor - the Austrian Reichsrat - as well as to its successor - the contemporary Czech Chamber of Deputies. Compared to the current state of affairs, the First Republic's National Assembly leaned significantly more towards a regulated parliamentary culture.
