Czech Republic, in The Private International Law of Companies in Europe

Abstrakt

Concise introduction to the international company law of the Czech Republic. Determination of the law applicable to companies, scope of the lex societatis and the lex concursus, ordre public, reincorporations, jurisdiction.

In the discussed areas, Czech law conforms to EU law. The only problem consists in the rather unclear provisions on cross-border transfer of the seat, regarding various legal acts (Civil code, Transformations Act, PIL Act).
