Psoriasis is currently considered to be a systemic disease that is manifested not only in the skin and joints, but is also associatedwith cardiovascular diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, and psychiatric complaints. Psoriasis comorbidities are typically mentionedin the context of adult patients.
The aim of this article is to contribute to the awareness of psoriasis comorbidities in children notonly among dermatologists, but also among paediatricians, rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists, thus encouraginginterdisciplinary collaboration since diagnosing these diseases early can prevent subsequent complications and improvethe quality of life of children with psoriasis and their families.
