Abstract

The lecture deals with eviction and removal of Czech (state) employees from Slovakia in 1938 and 1939. It characterizes the activities of Czech employees in Slovakia since 1918 (where and why they have worked).

It focuses on political parties attitudes and the approach of state institutions (principally Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare) to incoming employees on the territory of Bohemia and Moravia. It also deals with their problems with accommodation, unemployment and health care.
