Abstract
Reflection of society thru cultural products were always part of philosophical thinking. I wanted to focus on contemporary pop-culture, namely American TV series, in this article.
The most interesting for me is Walking dead. It contains all what audience wants, ethical, political and social themes combined with entertainment for masses.
You can find here problems of racism, sexism, family values or hints on refugee crisis. TV series are also proof of emptiness of alternative visions to contemporary political-economical order.
Pessimistic visions of future are new standards in pop-culture, positive visions are no more on stock which leads to consolidation of late capitalism society. It is impossible to think alterity.
